American Standard Spud, Fits Brand American Standard, For Use with Series American Standard, Urinals, Flush Valves – 047003-0070A

Urinal spuds, spud couplings, and friction rings form a water-tight connection between a flush valve (flushometer) and a urinal. Spuds are fittings that connect the base of the flushometer to the urinal’s mounting hole. They’re used as replacements for parts that have cracked, corroded, or no longer seat properly due to stripped threads.,Urinal flush-valve repair parts and accessories allow individual components of a flush valve (flushometer) to be replaced rather than the entire valve assembly. They’re used for routine maintenance and repair of manual and automatic urinal flush valves, which are commonly found in high-use (more than 30 flushes per day) public, commercial, and institutional restrooms. Signs that a flushometer may need repair include leaking from the valve, flushes that are too short or too long, and urinals that keep running. These urinal flush-valve parts are designed specifically for manual or automatic urinal flushers and typically fit only specific brands or models.
